Police in Hamilton arrested a third teenager in connection with the alleged murder of a woman in November.
On Thursday, Nov. 10, just after 11 a.m., police responded to the apartment on Ferguson Avenue North for reports that a woman was found dead inside her unit.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, and Hamilton police believed the woman died days prior, late Sunday evening or early Monday morning. The woman was identified as 38-year-old Danielle Strauss of Hamilton, and the cause of death has not been disclosed.

On Nov. 26, police arrested two teenagers — a 15-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy — on a Hamilton Street Railway (HSR) bus without incident.
In an update from police, investigators said that on Dec. 31, they were made aware that a 16-year-old male was en route back to Canada from Czechia after fleeing the country. He was arrested at Toronto Pearson International Airport that same day and is facing a second-degree murder charge.
The three teenagers have not been identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA).
Hamilton police said Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), RCMP Interpol services, Global Affairs Canada and Peel Regional Police were all involved in the homicide investigation.
