Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle at Yonge-Dundas

One person has been rushed to hospital after they were struck by a vehicle near Yonge-Dundas Square.

Police were called to Yonge and Dundas streets just after the noon hour on Friday.

Paramedics say the person has serious, potentially life-threatening injuries.

The driver remained at the scene.

The area was closed to traffic but has since reopened.
