Police trying to identify stabbing suspect

Toronto police have released grainy images of a stabbing suspect, hoping it will help lead to an arrest.

Police say two groups began fighting in the Portland and Stewart Streets area on Sunday, May 28, at around 1:08 a.m.

During the brawl, one person was stabbed several times.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, and survived.

Investigators say the suspect fled north towards King Street West.

He’s described as six feet tall with a thin build and long black dreadlocks. Police say he was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, necklace, blue jeans, baseball hat and white shoes.
