Five teen suspects sought for string of assaults, robberies in Toronto’s east end

Police are searching for a group of young people accused of a string of assaults and street robberies in Toronto’s east end.
Officers responded to three separate calls on Sep. 1 around 4:50 a.m. in the Withrow Park area, near Danforth and Carlaw avenues.
Police allege a jogger was assaulted on Dingwall Avenue by a group of male youths who demanded his property. The group then continued westbound on Dingwall and swarmed a cyclist at Carlaw and Wroxeter Avenue, stealing the victim’s bike.
It is further alleged the group travelled eastbound on Bain Avenue from Pape and went inside a UPS delivery truck, stopping the driver from making his delivery. The group was last seen heading eastbound on Bain towards Blake Street.
The five suspects are described by police as:
- Suspect #1: male, tanned skin, 5’0″, 12-15-Years old, light brown afro, grey T-shirt, black hoodie, black jeans, grey shoes
- Suspect #2: male, black, 5’6″, 13-16-years-old, black balaclava, black sunglasses, white tank-top, black satchel, dark jeans, black shoes
- Suspect #3: male, white, blonde curly hair, 15-16-years-old, black Nike T-shirt, black shorts, black Nike sandals, black scooter
- Suspect #4: male, black, 15-16-years-old, ear-length black braids, red hoodie with a white image on the front, dark jeans, black shoes, black satchel.
- Suspect #5: male, white, 14-16-years-old, black T-shirt with white “Polo” lettering on the front, grey track pants, black shoes, black satchel.
