Suspect arrested after entering Brampton home, stabbing two people: police

One man was arrested and is facing charges after allegedly entering a Brampton residence and stabbing two people.
Peel Regional Police officers were called to a home in the Sandalwood Parkway West and Brisdale Drive area at around 10 p.m. on Thursday for reports of a suspicious person chasing people on the street.
It’s alleged that the suspect entered a home, and an altercation ensued. Two people, a man and a woman, were stabbed and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

A 34-year-old man from Mississauga was arrested shortly after. He’s been charged with aggravated assault, break and enter, assault with a weapon and choking. He was held for a bail hearing and will attend court at a later date.
It’s unclear if the accused and two victims knew each other.
The investigation is ongoing.
