2 officers sent to hospital following a crash involving Toronto Police SUV

Two Toronto officers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries following a collision between their cruiser and another vehicle in the city’s downtown core.

The two vehicles crashed around 8:40 p.m. on Thursday, sandwiched between two utility poles at Lake Shore Boulevard West and York Street.

Police say the driver of the other vehicle did not sustain injuries, and no charges have been filed against anyone.

No further details have been released at this time.
