Pedestrian struck in Mississauga collision

A pedestrian is in hospital after being struck by a vehicle in Mississauga, according to police.
The incident happened on Creditview Road and Bristol Road, around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Peel Regional Police initially say the vehicle fled the scene, but police tell 680 NewsRadio the driver ended up returning to the scene.
A man was transported to the local hospital in stable condition, according to Peel paramedics.
An investigation is ongoing and it’s unknown whether any charges will be laid.
