2 pedestrians struck by a vehicle in Forest Hill

A man and a woman are in hospital after they were struck by a vehicle in the Toronto neighbourhood of Forest Hill.

Emergency crews responded to the scene at Eglinton Avenue and Chaplin Crescent near Spadina Road just before 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.

Paramedics say the woman was taken to a trauma centre with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The man suffered minor injuries and was taken to a local hospital.

Police say the vehicle remained at the scene.

Chaplin was closed in both directions between Eglinton and Roselawn Avenue but has since reopened to traffic.
