84-year-old man missing from Markham found safe

York Regional Police say a vulnerable man who went missing in Markham on Thursday has been located.

Police say Guang, 84, was last seen around 10 p.m. at a church in the Highglen Avenue and Middlefield Road area. He did not return home and had not contacted his family.

Police set up a command at 525 Highglen Avenue as they searched for him.

An update from police was sent out around 11:20 a.m. Friday confirming that he was found safe and in good health.
