Woman In Wedding Dress Deliberately Drives Marijuana-Filled Car Into Pond

Authorities see some weird things in their journeys patrolling a city, but few have ever run into anything quite like this. Conservation officers in Gilford, New Hampshire, a small town in the eastern part of the state, were on patrol Wednesday when they spotted a strange car parked in a lonely spot in a park.

When one of the men went up to the vehicle to check if the person driving it was alright, they discovered a lone woman sitting inside, clad in a full wedding dress. When she saw them, she grabbed a bag of marijuana that was beside her on the front seat and a struggle began as the official reached in to try to snatch it from her. She evaded his grasp, started the SUV and began driving it at a high rate of speed around the parking lot. And then she changed direction and headed straight into a nearby pond.

As the vehicle began to sink with the suspect still inside it, other officers and a nearby resident came in to try and rescue the woman. But when the neighbour attempted to pull her out, the 42-year-old occupant bit her on the arm.

Cops finally managed to get her out of the now submerged auto and took her to hospital and then to jail. The reasons for her actions still aren’t known, nor is it clear why she was wearing a wedding dress. But she likely won’t be getting to the church on time. The suspect is facing a slew of charges, including assault, driving under suspension and drug possession.
