Cheapest Canucks tickets going for $300

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Just how much are people willing to pay for the hottest ticket in town?
“Demand has been through the roof. I cannot believe it,” says ticket broker Kingsley Bailey of Vancouver Ticket Service. The cheapest tickets for Tuesday’s home game are going for about $300 bucks, and it’s because demand is high and supply is low.
“Fans have been waiting 40 years. I’m having a hard time trying to pry them out of season ticket holders’ hands. They want to be there. They want to enjoy it,” he explains.
Seats close to the ice are around $900, making it the most expensive Canucks game of this year’s playoff run so far.
