TORONTO — After interviewing Hollywood stars in cities across the globe, ET Canada veteran Roz Weston says he’s signing off from the entertainment news program.
With 17 seasons under his belt, the TV reporter and radio host will exit the show on June 23 with a “special farewell” that looks back on some of his memorable moments.
It’s a significant change for ET Canada where Weston has been a prominent figure since the series launched in 2005.
In a statement Weston said his fond memories include interviewing Shania Twain at her Las Vegas residency, Brad Pitt in London, and taking a crash course in dirty dancing from Patrick Swayze.
He leaves the show ahead of the release of his memoir “A Little Bit Broken,” due on Sept. 27, saying the project “needs my full attention.”
A representative for ET Canada says Weston intends to continue co-hosting his morning radio program “The Roz and Mocha Show.”
