Police make arrest in quadruple Parkdale shooting that claimed life of 23-year-old

Toronto police have made an arrest after a man was killed and three others were injured in a quadruple shooting in Parkdale last November.
Officers were called to an apartment building at 245 Dunn Avenue near Queen Street West at around 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.
A 23-year-old man was located in an apartment unit with critical injuries. Life-saving measures were attempted, but he died at the scene.
He was later identified as Abel Gime (pictured below).
Three other victims, a 19-year-old man, 22-year-old man, and a 44-year-old woman, were all treated for various injuries but survived.
On Wednesday police arrested Oshane Mitchell, 27, of Toronto, in connection to the incident.
He’s facing one count of second-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder.
