Suspect wanted after couple assaulted with golf club in Mississauga

Peel police are searching for a suspect who assaulted and robbed a couple last weekend in Mississauga.
Police say the couple were walking on a path between Indian Road and Birchview Drive around 6 p.m. last Saturday when they were confronted by a man who emerged from the bushes brandishing a golf club.
“Both victims had personal property stolen from them, and one of the victims sustained minor injuries after being assaulted by the suspect,” police said in a statement.
The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, approximately six feet tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a puffy black jacket with a hock, black toque and pants.
