61-year-old motorcyclist critically hurt in crash on QEW in Oakville

A man is fighting for his life in hospital after a highway crash involving a motorcycle in Oakville on Wednesday morning.
Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) tell CityNews the two-vehicle collision occurred around 9 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the QEW near Third Line.
A 61-year-old man who was riding the motorcycle has been rushed to hospital in life-threatening condition. No other injuries have been reported.
There is no word on the cause of the crash.
The westbound QEW is currently closed from Third Line to Bronte Road for the investigation. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area.
