2 stabbed in east end home invasion

Two people were injured in a violent home invasion in the city’s east end.
It happened around 9 p.m., Sunday in the Danforth and Kennedy roads area.
Police say three masked men broke into the home. An altercation ensued between the robbers and the two occupants of the home.
Two people were slashed during the fight. One victim was later transported to hospital, the second victim refused medical treatment.
The forensic unit is on scene and police are speaking to possible witnesses.
