About Kris
Kris knew she wanted to be in radio when she was just 12 years old – and spent time practicing with a tape recorder.
After graduating from Algonquin College in Ottawa, Kris got her first on air job at CFRA – doing overnight newscasting and producing the pre-morning show. “It was an amazing training ground – and a lesson in time management,” Kris says.
She later worked as a reporter at CHAY in Barrie, as a national anchor at The Canadian Press before making stops at CFRB and AM740 in Toronto.
Kris came to 680News in October of 2010 and has been the mid-day business editor since 2015.
“As a news freak – I have always been a fan of 680News and I’m thrilled to now be a part of the amazing team,” Kris says.
Kris was born and raised in Toronto – and in her spare time, she enjoys watching Leaf games, cycling, reading and walking her crazy (but cute) dog.
