Boy, 13, accused of sex assault in Mississauga

Peel police have arrested a 13-year-old boy accused of sexual assault and assault in Mississauga last month.
It’s alleged the teen sexually assaulted a 45-year-old woman on the road near Dundas Street East and Dixie Road around 8:30 a.m. on Sept. 8.
Police said on the same day around 4:10 p.m., the boy assaulted a 22-year-old woman who was standing on the road in the same area.
Tips from the public helped officers track down the Mississauga teen, and they charged him with sexual assault and two counts of assault.
He is being held pending a bail hearing in Brampton on Thursday.
He cannot be identified due to the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
