Car abandoned in Spadina streetcar tunnel

A car was removed from the Spadina station streetcar tunnel early on Saturday morning after the vehicle got stuck inside, on the tracks.
Toronto police say they responded to a call after a white Jeep got lodged in the tunnel just before 3:30 a.m.
When they arrived on scene, the vehicle was abandoned. There was no other property damage. A tow truck removed the Jeep from the tunnel several hours later at around 7:30 a.m.
Police are searching for the driver and say it’s unclear if alcohol may have played a factor.
