Jessica Bates is due to give birth to twins any day now but that didn’t stop her from running into a burning home in Albion, Michigan to save a paralyzed neighbour.
The pregnant woman managed to pull Barbara Wellman out to safety on the sidewalk in her wheelchair by pulling the foot pedals.
If anyone deserves the title of Super Mom it’s Bates.
Contraband Centrefolds
It’s something men sometimes try to hide, but two inmates in Indiana are going to court to get their Playboys back.
They’re suing state prison officials for taking away their favourite centrefolds. Pornographic magazines and sexually-oriented material are banned and the pair of prisoners is hoping to overturn the new rule.
They claim the ban doesn’t only include Penthouse and Playboy – it also covers publications like National Geographic, daily newspapers and private letters.
Hiding your naughty magazines under the mattress obviously doesn’t work in the slammer.
