Rescuers And Doctors Fail To Save Swimmer

A 28-year-old man died in hospital after being pulled from Musselman Lake near Stouffville Monday afternoon. Police said the man had gone missing in the water water for about 15 minutes before turning up unconscious.

He was rushed to Markham-Stouffville Hospital where doctors were unable to revive him.

His name hasn’t been released. The incident happened at Cedar Beach, the scene of another drowning earlier this summer.
