Carlaw Shooting Victim Identified

A man killed in a shooting on Tuesday has been identified. Sasha Haroutiun was 35 years old.
Haroutiun succumbed to his injuries in hospital after undergoing emergency surgery. Homicide detectives are now on the case.
It’s unclear what happened but police were called to a main-level converted loft on Carlaw Ave. near Dundas St. after residents reported hearing a single gunshot at about 4:30pm. He’d been hit in the stomach.
Investigators reportedly seized a surveillance video but there’s apparently no description of the shooter yet.
Haroutiun (top left) was shot inside the building. Police have not released a description of the killer, but say the neighbourhood has been cooperative.
