Police Conduct Pre-Dawn Raids Targeting Gangs And Guns, Several Arrested

Toronto police conducted a series of pre-dawn raids across the city, targeting gangs and guns.

Authorities descended on six homes and the same number of vehicles Thursday in the areas of Port Union and Kingston Rds., Bathurst St. and Wilson Ave., and Eglinton and Marlee Aves.

They seized marijuana, crack cocaine and cash.

Several people were arrested but it’s unclear how many were taken into custody and whether any weapons were found. There’s no word on charges.
