Robber Uses Scooter As Getaway Vehicle After Stealing From TTC Booth

Toronto police have an interesting piece of evidence in an overnight subway heist: a kid’s scooter.
The scooter was apparently the bandit’s mode of transportation after the holdup at Lawrence West subway station. Emergency Task Force officers and police dogs came upon the abandoned two-wheeler during a search of the area at about 1:15am Tuesday.
The thief got away with an undetermined amount of cash.
No one was injured in the stick-up.
There’s no word on whether anyone offered a description of the suspect.
