OPP Searching Garbage Dump For Clues In Victoria Stafford Disappearance

It’s been almost two weeks since eight-year-old Victoria “Tori” Stafford was last seen, walking home from school on a Wednesday afternoon and captured on surveillance video with a still-unidentified woman.

Ground searches and the efforts of hundreds of volunteers and investigators have yet to yield the little girl’s location, and on Tuesday OPP officers continued working at a Woodstock landfill, sifting through the equivalent of 200 garbage trucks full of trash as part of the search.

Police insist they’re not looking for a body – just clues. The lake of a nearby conservation area was also scoured for any sign of the missing girl.
