StreetBeat – Jul. 29 – Wounded Man Calls Cops From Balcony, Doesn’t Know How He Got There

It was a strange scene for rescue crews on Wednesday morning.

Fire fighters and cops were called to a balcony on Front Street at the foot of Church Street – by a man who wasn’t sure how he ended up there.

He reportedly woke up bleeding from the head, after sleeping on the second-floor landing.

Crews put a ladder up to rescue him, and the man was able to climb down.

Police are still trying to figure out how he got up there.

His injuries are not considered serious.


Double Shooting Sends Two To Hospital

A double-shooting near Highway 401 and Bathurst Street has sent two men to hospital.

Emergency crews found the pair around 1:20am on Neptune Drive.

Luckily, their injuries were not life-threatening.

Police are getting co-operation from residents who heard the gunfire, but no arrests have yet been made.

Investigators believe it may have been a drive-by attack.
