Cops Release Name, Picture Of City’s 32nd Murder Victim

Toronto Police have released the identity and of Toronto’s 32nd murder victim of 2009.

Ottawa resident Wesler Fabien, 25, was shot and killed Saturday night in a laneway beside the Howard Johnson hotel on Avenue Road near Dupont.

A 22-year-old man from Montreal was also wounded in the shooting and is recovering in hospital.

It’s alleged the pair had just left a car behind the hotel and police say the lone shooter may have been waiting for them.
