Man Dies After Fall From Escalator

A 27-year-old man has died after falling from an escalator at the Toronto Life Square.
The victim was apparently sitting on the rail when he fell backwards, plunging 10 metres to the floor below.
He sustained serious head injuries in the fall and was rushed to hospital, where he later passed away.
Police believe alcohol was a factor in the incident, which happened just outside the AMC Theatres near Yonge and Dundas streets on Sunday night.
