Funeral services were held in Edmonton Friday for the Toronto cyclist killed in a case that has resulted in charges against a former Ontario cabinet minister.
A memorial service was held in Toronto for Darcy Allan Sheppard on Monday. Police say Sheppard died last month after he was seen hanging onto the side of a car, following an altercation with the driver.
Former Ontario Attorney General Michael Bryant was charged this month with criminal negligence causing death and dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death in connection with the case.
Bryant says he is innocent of the charges.
He is scheduled to make his first court appearance Oct. 19.
