Science fiction writer Robert J. Sawyer has penned eighteen novels in his career so far including the popular FlashForward series (which is now a television show airing on ABC), the award-winning Mindscan, and the recent novel WWW: Wake (which is part of a trilogy about the World Wide Web of the future). He’s also a huge fan of sci-fi films like 2001: A Space Odyssey, Planet of the Apes, Star Trek and the Terminator movies, and has a lot of ideas about what’s in store for the future of mankind.

Will the machines take over as depicted in Terminator Salvation? Will we be able to time travel one day? Is the Internet ever going to be piped directly into our brain? Watch the interview below to see what Robert has to say about these predictions and more.
