The OPP is looking for more diversity as it prepares for an annual three-day recruitment camp.
Provincial police said the program’s looking for applications from women, people from diverse communities and potential recruits who speak more than one language.
The eighth annual camp will allow applicants to live the life of an OPP recruit with firearms, drills, physical training and practical exercises. Participants will also learn about the OPP’s traditions and history.
Applications for July’s “OPP bound 2010” program should be in by the end of April.
The program is being held at the Provincial Police Academy in Orilla.
