Pacific Mall to double in size

MARKHAM, Ont. – Pacific Mall has become a leading tourist, entertainment and shopping destination and now Markham’s Asian-themed mall is slated to more than double its size.
The expansion program was announced on Friday and will include a new hotel and 450 new stores.
“[It] will provide an opportunity for existing unit owners to diversify their businesses and provide an additional investment opportunity. This also opens the gates for new businesses and investors to join the Pacific Mall family,” Stephen Wong, broker of record for Living Realty Inc. of Markham, Ontario, said in a press release.
MPI Group, which has been involved in the development of several properties worth billions of dollars across Canada and the United States, will spearhead the project.
