Raptors Fall To The Hawks

The Raptors playoff hopes were dealt a serious blow Friday night after a 107-101 loss to the Atlanta Hawks.
Toronto came out strong in the first quarter, outscoring the Hawks 25-14. But in the second quarter, Atlanta rebounded with a season-high 45 points and went into the half with a comfortable 59-47 lead.
Amir Johnson had 18 points and 13 rebounds for Toronto, which began the night tied with the Chicago Bulls for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference. Sonny Weems had 18 points, and Jose Calderon had 10 points along with 10 assists.
Hedo Turkoglu was still wearing a face mask after being injured in Wednesday’s game with Boston. Chris Bosh is already out for the season with a facial fracture.
Next up, the Raptors will host Chicago on Sunday.
