Torontonians Will Likely Hear NORAD Security Exercises

Security exercises may have some people wondering if the air show is in town.
NORAD (North American Aerospace Defense Command) is conducting exercises this week in preparation for the G8 and G20 summits in Huntsville and Toronto this June.
Canadian Forces CF-18 Hornet fighter jets and Sea King and Griffon helicopters will likely catch your attention over the next two days as they fly at low altitudes.
Officials won’t divulge any other details about the training exercises.
The G8 Summit takes place in Muskoka on June 25th and 26th and the G20 is being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on June 26th and 27th.
