Argos owner appointed to senate

OTTAWA – The owner of the Toronto Argonauts and the B.C. Lions is on his way up.

Prime Minister Stephen Harper has appointed David Braley to the Senate.

He replaces Conservative senator Wilbert Keon, who has reached the age of 75, where it is mandatory for members of the senate to retire.
