Serious Crash On Hwy 407

A 24-year-old Toronto man is in critical condition after a single-vehicle crash in Brampton.

The man was driving a Nissan Altima westbound on the 407 when, at Winston Churchill Boulevard, he veered into the right ditch and hit a concrete bridge support.

He was taken to Credit Valley Hospital and then airlifted to Sunnybrook with life-threatening injuries.

The westbound lanes of the 407 were closed at the 401 for the investigation.

The OPP is asking witnesses to call (905) 841-5777.
