Dufferin jog disappearing tonight

By the time you drive home Thursday night, the Dufferin jog will be history.
The Dufferin tunnel opens at 3 p.m.
The $40-million, 70-metre long tunnel connects Dufferin beneath the rail bridge at Queen Street, so cars and buses no longer have to jog down Peel and Gladstone Avenue.
Besides smoothing the commute, the project also includes an ampitheatre on the north side of Queen Street, new light standards and trees and underpass murals will be added next spring.
