Woman Stabbed In Brampton

A woman is in serious condition after she was stabbed in a vehicle in Brampton on Friday afternoon.
It happened shortly before 2pm on Clark Boulevard, just west of Bramalea City Centre.
Emergency crews responded and transported the woman to hospital, where she remains in serious, but stable condition.
Police arrested a man at the scene and believe he and the victim know each other.
“We do believe we’ve found the one person responsible and the preliminary investigation suggests this is not a random act,” said Const. Adam Minnion of Peel police.
“Right now our main focus is ensuring the victim gets the first aid she requires.”
