Suspects Sought For Two Sex Attacks

Police are searching for suspects in two separate sexual assaults that happened just hours apart in the east end last week.

The first attack happened Friday evening when a masked man approached a 17-year-old girl, struck her in the face, pushed her to the ground and sexually assaulted her around 6pm near Bexhill Avenue and Donside Drive, in the Pharmacy and Danforth area.

The suspect is described as:

  • Mid 20s,
  • 5’8” to 5’9” with a slim build

Police say the attacker was wearing a dark, hooded sweatshirt over a dark baseball cap. He was also wearing a ski mask and wore black baggy pants and dark shoes.

Hours later a 20-year-old woman was attacked on Midland Avenue near Danforth Road early Saturday.

Authorities say the woman was walking north on Midland around 3am when a man tried to persuade her to get inside his car. She ignored the man several times. He then approached her on foot and attacked her.

The suspect is described as:

  • Light-skinned
  • 25 to 35 years old,
  • 5’8” to 5’9” with a small build
  • Short dark hair

The man was wearing blue jeans and a blue jacket. The suspect vehicle is described as a 2004-2005 burgundy Buick Rendezvous with gold trim along the bottom of the car. It had tinted rear windows.

If you have any information about either of these attacks, call police at (416) 808-7474 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.
