Thrill-seekers gathered at one of Toronto’s most popular landmarks Monday, as the CN Tower opened a heart-racing new attraction.
EdgeWalk allows daredevils a one-of-a kind view of Toronto, from the Tower’s 356 metre-high ledge. That’s 116 storeys above the ground.
The experience costs $175 to strap in for an open-air walk along the 1.5-metre platform that runs along the tower’s highest pod. The entire experience will run 1.5 hours, with the walk itself lasting between 20 to 30 minutes.
As many as eight people can do the EdgeWalk at any given time. Participants are supported by a pulley and a harness.
