TORONTO, Ont. – Strong winds blew through the GTA overnight, snapping tree branches and power lines.
The wind gusts reached up to 74 kilometres an hour.
At Yonge Street and Eglinton Avenue West, bits of plastic, paper and cardboard were scattered across the streets and sidewalks.
With the wind also came an extreme temperature change. In 24 hours, we’ve gone from a high of 10 C to a high of -3 C.
On Tuesday, foggy conditions prompted a weather advisory from Porter Airlines.
