More passengers flying from Cuba-Ontario fall ill

TORONTO, Ont. – For the third time in two days, passengers flying to Ontario from Cuba have fallen ill on an Air Transat flight.

The company reports 14 passengers reported nausea, vomiting and fever Friday on a flight from Holguin, Cuba to Pearson International Airport.

The Canadian Press reports 12 ill passengers also landed in Ottawa, with two of them being sent to hospital.

Meanwhile, on Thursday 20 passengers on a flight to Pearson reported the same symptoms.

The first reported incident was Tuesday, when seven people were ill on a flight that landed in Ottawa.
