Man charged after Gardiner crash

A man has been charged with impaired driving after crashing into a concrete barrier on the Gardiner Expressway.

It happened shortly before 2 a.m. Saturday in the westbound lanes near Highway 427 in Etobicoke.

No one was injured in the crash.

And police have another man in custody after he drove into a pole on Yonge Street, north of Sheppard, around 4 a.m.

He was not hurt.

Police have not said whether the man has been charged.
