Freezing rain warning ends for southern Ontario

TORONTO, Ont. – It was touch and go Thursday morning on the roads, all depending on where you live and where you were headed to.
A freezing rain warning was in effect for parts of southern Ontario including Halton Hills, Caledon, Milton, Waterloo, Wellington and Orangeville, but that has since been lifted.
The special weather statement has also ended for Toronto.
680News did receive a lot of earlier calls from people reporting freezing rain around the GTA.
Although things have improved, Ontario Provincial Police Sgt. Dave Woodford told 680News you still have to pay attention and slow down when conditions are changing like this.
