Raonic could face Federer at Indian Wells

Milos Raonic will have to wait to find out who his first opponent will be at the BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, Calif.
The 27-seed Raonic has a bye in the opening round and will face the winner between Carlos Berlocq and Benoit Paire.
If Raonic wins, he could potentially meet 16-time Grand Slam champion Roger Federer in the third round. Federer, who enters the tournament riding a 10-match winning streak, also has a first-round bye and will play against Dmitry Tursunov or Denis Kudla.

The 21-year-old Raonic held a wild card berth at the Indian Wells Masters last year and defeated Marsel Ilhan and Mardy Fish before falling to Ryan Harrison in the third round.
Raonic, from Thornhill, Ont., has won the Chennai Open and SAP Open this year and is coming off of a runner-up finish at the Regions Morgan Keegan Championships.
The first round of the BNP Paribas Open main draw begins Thursday.
