Montreal return for GSP not a guarantee

MONTREAL – Georges St-Pierre doesn’t know if he’ll be ready to return to the Octagon later this year in Montreal.

He suffered a knee injury last December and the injured UFC welterweight champion told a news conference in Montreal today that he’s continuing his rehabilitation.

St-Pierre says if all goes well, he’ll start training again in July.

There have been speculation he will make his comeback at UFC 154 on Nov. 17 in Montreal.

But St-Pierre says that’s only a rumour and he doesn’t know when — or where — he will step back into the cage.

But he’s crossing his fingers that he will make his comeback in his hometown where, he says, he has enjoyed the best moments of his life
