2 men arrested, another wanted for Malton murder

Two men have been charged with first-degree murder in connection to a shooting in Malton last fall that claimed the life of Brampton man Dwayne Alexander Thompson.

A third suspect is wanted on an arrest warrant.

Thompson, 32, was shot to death behind a building on Darcel Avenue, near Goreway and Morningstar drives, around 10:30 p.m. on Nov. 1, 2012.

Investigators executed search warrants at addresses in Brampton, Mississauga and Toronto on Wednesday morning and then made the two arrests.

Brampton man Amal Everton Greensword, 23, and Mississauga man Adrian Jordan Williams, 19, are charged with first-degree murder.

An arrest warrant for the same charge has been issued for Steven Vanroy Browne, 22. Police consider Browne to be “armed and dangerous.” Authorities say they believe Browne (pictured) now has a shaved head.
