Several NuGo-brand bars recalled due to unlisted milk

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people with allergies to milk to not consume certain NuGo-brand products.

The affected products may contain milk that is not listed on the labels, according to the CFIA and manufacturer Lifestyle Evolution Incorporated.

The affected products, which have been distributed in Ontario, British Columbia, Manitoba and Saskatchewan, include several NuGo brand bars.

These include the NuGo Organic Double Dark Chocolate, Dark Chocolate Pomegranate and Dark Chocolate Almond.

Also included are the NuGo Free Carrot Cake and the NuGo Slim Espresso and Crunchy Peanut Butter.

The NuGo Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cup is also included in the recall.

There have been no reported incidents associated with the bars.

Consumption of the products may cause an allergic reaction for anyone with allergies to milk.
