Toronto firefighters were able to rescue a cat after a two-alarm fire on Yonge Street near Davisville Avenue on Tuesday morning.
A woman and her pets were forced out of their apartment around 1:35 a.m. The apartment is located above a pub and it’s believed the fire began in the back of the building.
No injuries were reported and there’s no word on what caused the fire.
Yonge was closed between Davisville and Belsize Drive for the investigation but has since reopened.
