Renovations shutter Pape station for 12 days

Pape station closed for extensive renovations on Monday and will be out of commission for 12 days.
Trains will bypass the station until Aug. 30 and it will not be open to the public.
The bus diversions are as follows:
- 72 Pape: northbound buses will operate to Broadview Station via Danforth Avenue. On its return trip, it will travel north on Broadview Avenue, east on Mortimer Avenue, then south on Pape Avenue and back to route.
- 81 Thornciffe Park: buses will use Donlands Station, via Pape Avenue and Danforth Avenue.
- 25 Don Mills: buses will operate to and from Donlands Station, via Donlands Avenue.
The TTC said it will work on the station’s floors, stairs, finishes, ceilings and the new bus waiting area during the closure.
In October, work will be done on elevators, bike parking and landscaping, and by December, a second exit will be completed.
